Miranda is from Kennesaw, Georgia where she began her training at Impact Dance of Atlanta. She was taught by Susan Beebe, an ABT National Training Curriculum certified teacher. She attended many summer intensives including The Washington Ballet, Miami City Ballet, Pennsylvania Ballet, two summers at Boston Ballet on scholarship, and at Ballet West on scholarship. She completed the ABT National Training Curriculum Testing for level 5A with merit. She competed in YAGP where she won Top 12 in the Contemporary Category. At 17, she moved to train with the Miami City Ballet for her senior year of High School. After that, she became a trainee at Ballet West for two years. She performed with Ballet West in The Sleeping Beauty, Giselle, Swan Lake, The Nutcracker, The Little Mermaid, and Aladdin. She also performed for Center Stage in Burley, Idaho as a guest for the principle role of the Sugarplum Fairy. After Ballet West, she went on to dance with the Nevada Ballet Theatre for one year. There she performed in Balanchine's Serenade, Cinderella, Romeo & Juliet, The Nutcracker, and in a special collaboration with Cirque du Soleil. The next year she performed with the Lexington Ballet in The Nutcracker (as the Arabian lead), Romeo & Juliet, and Cinderella. She is excited about returning to Georgia, dancing with Ballet Southeast, and pursuing a nursing degree.
