We welcome anyone who loves to dance or just wants to stay in shape. You may have danced as a child or teen and would like to continue to dance or you never had the opportunity to learn to dance. AABD offers Adult Barre Classes, Adult Ballet Classes, Adult Jazz and Adult Tap for beginning and intermediate dancers.
Ballet/Jazz/Tap (Beg/Int): Adults are welcome to wear any type of dance clothing in which they feel comfortable. Many adults wear a leotard, tights, ballet shoes, and a cover up of a t-shirt and shorts. Your local dance store will be able to help you in finding suitable dancewear and shoes.
Barre Fitness Class: Adults are welcome to wear an athletic top or t-shirt and form-fitting exercise pants are best. You will need a Yoga mat and a full-sized towel to put under the mat. Shoes are optional. Most adults take the class barefoot but some prefer ballet slippers. if you require extra foot support a light athletic shoe is permissible but must have NON-MARKING SOLES and only be worn inside the studio. And be sure to bring a water bottle!

What is Barre Fitness?
A full-body, low-impact workout that includes ballet-based exercises to achieve those ever-desirable long lean muscles. There are plies, lunges, small jumps and leg lifts to tone the hips, thighs and tush. Arm sculpting with light hand weights, body-weight movements to build core strength and stretching to increase flexibility and reduce soreness. Most exercises combine upper and lower body movement in order to recruit more muscle groups and increase calorie burn.
Do I need dance experience ?
NO! While this class does attract those with some former dance training, I have many clients who have never set foot in a dance class in their lives and come to love the challenge and gracefulness of the movements, not to mention the results!

Adult Virtual Barre Fitness - 1 hr classes on your schedule! 2 classes per week / $50 per month
Adult Ballet classes are 1.25 hr classes, and $72 for each 6-week session. Drop-in anytime for $14.
Adult Jazz classes are 45 minute classes and $56 for each 6-week session.
You must register online before the first day of each session to receive the discounted rate. There must be 4 students registered for the class to continue with the session.
