Artistic Director's Welcome
I would like to welcome you to Atlanta Academy of Ballet and Dance.
At AABD, we ensure the highest caliber of instruction by teachers with extensive experience who pass on proper training and technique to our dancers. We present professional quality performance opportunities. We recently performed with the Moscow Ballet in the Great Russian Nutcracker and present an annual Christmas production, a full-length classical ballet, and a Spring Show every year. We offer competition opportunities (Youth America Grand Prix, ADC/IBC, and others) for interested students as well as a Pre-Professional Training Division.
I set a tone of professionalism, maintain high standards, and provide a family-friendly atmosphere. I realize that students have different talents and different goals concerning their dancing and I honor each of them. My motto is “Learning to Dance, Dancing to Learn.” Classical ballet is our main focus but we also offer classes in Contemporary, Modern, Conditioning, Tap, Hip Hop, Lyrical, Musical Theater, and Jazz.

Our staff members have been trained by some of the finest instructors in the industry. They attend dance conventions, workshops and seminars on a regular basis, providing our students with impeccable technique and current choreography.
