Carly Walters
Carly Walters is a dancer from Kennesaw, Georgia. She has previously trained as a pre-professional trainee at Atlanta Academy and Ballet and Dance under the direction of Susan Beebe. During her seven years at AABD, she studied the American Ballet Theatre National Training Curriculum. Carly has attended summer intensives with Texas Ballet Theater, American Ballet Theatre in NYC, and the Orlando Ballet School. Throughout her training she has also studied various genres including contemporary, modern, musical theater, jazz, and tap. Her previous performance experience includes lead roles such as Kitri in Don Quixote, Alice in Alice in Wonderland, Swanhilda in Coppelia, and the Snow Queen in The Nutcracker. Currently, she is a student at Kennesaw State University double majoring in dance with a ballet concentration and business management. During her time with the KSU Dance Company, she has performed in various works including repertoire by McCree O’Kelley, Heath Gill, and Autumn Eckman. In addition to her training, Carly has a certification in level one of the Revolutionary Principles of Movement curriculum. In the summer of 2023, she studied dance abroad in Amsterdam, Netherlands where she engaged in various workshops and masterclasses. During the spring of 2024, Carly premiered her choreographic senior capstone project which was presented in the Kennesaw State University Student Dance Concert. As well as dancing in the studio, she enjoys teaching, assisting classes and helping younger dancers grow in the artform.​​
