Carly Walters is a dancer from Kennesaw, Georgia. She has trained at Atlanta Academy of Ballet and Dance under the direction of Susan Banks Beebe for seven years. During her seven years at AABD, she was a pre-professional trainee in the ballet academy learning the American Ballet Theatre National Training Curriculum. She has attended summer intensives at Texas Ballet Theater, American Ballet Theatre in NYC, and the Orlando Ballet School. She started dance when she was four years old and has been fortunate to study many genres. The additional genres include contemporary, modern, musical theater, and tap. Throughout her training, she has had many incredible opportunities to perform lead roles. These roles include Kitri in Don Quixote, Alice in Alice in Wonderland, Swanhilda in Coppelia, and the Snow Queen in The Nutcracker. In the fall, she will be continuing her dance studies at Kennesaw State University. She plans on double majoring in dance with a ballet concentration and business. As well as dancing in the studio, she enjoys assisting classes and helping younger dancers grow in the artform. She is currently earning her certification in the Revolutionary Principles of Movement curriculum.
